Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co.: An 18k Gold and Jadeite Pendant Necklace

This minimalist necklace, measuring at 22 in., comprises a central jadeite disc, accented with a high polish, completed with an 18k gold fine-link chain.

Designed by the Studio 54 queen herself, Elsa Peretti was an Italian model turned jewelry designer, first joining the Tiffany & Co. family in 1974. With an emphasis on unassuming beauty, Peretti had a keen eye for what bridged the gap between classical shapes and modern construction in jewelry. Her creations, often minimalist in design, took strong references from the beautiful yet rugged landscapes of Spain, a frequent place of solace for Peretti throughout her life.
